I've posted this video only because I feel like I needed to voice concern. I appreciate all police officers, and public safety workers, we are grateful for your service. I believe in life, our jobs, relationships, we need to live and operate with INTEGRITY & HONESTY. I know that people make mistakes, and nobody is perfect....(we all make mistakes), but hopefully this will help those and all of us to learn from them, and in the future, think twice before a citation is given. -Just for the sake of handing out a citation. The fees, class time, everything involved with resolving a citation takes time, money- Now, that's the price paid for breaking the law, and i have no problem with being held accountable if the violation is "valid", but if the violation isnt valid, and is incorrect, it affects families, and their lives, (especially in this economy). -------------- At approx 09:02:11 minute mark on the video screen, if you look towards the frontage road intersection, you can barely see my vehicle (white sedan), as it crosses through the intersection at the frontage road/ina. Officer Handerson clearly was in NO position to view my vehicle, and there is no way he could have made judgement with the traffic signal. THERE WAS A TRAIN CROSSING INA AT THE TIME, BUT IT SEEMS AS IF THE OFFICER DOESNT KNOW, OR DIDNT REALIZE THAT THE SOUTHBOUND, FRONTAGE TRAFFIC, DOES GET A GREEN SIGNAL (DEPENDING ON TRAIN LENGTH). THE SOUTHBOUND LEFT TURN STAYS RED, BUT AGAIN, THE THROUGH TRAFFIC WILL GET A GREEN SIGNAL DURING THE DAY, WHEN A TRAIN IS CROSSING. EITHER WAY, ANYONE TRAVELING EAST ON INA, APPROACHING THIS INTERSECTION, YOU LITERALLY CANNOT SEE THE SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC SIGNALS, UNTIL YOU ARE PRETTY MUCH AT THE INTERSECTION CROSSING....
