Malkit Singh's party and performance at Crown Plaza The Bhangra king Malkit Singh, is one such Pop Star in the Punjabi music industry who has managed to reach to the hearts of Indians and foreigners alike, with about 100s Punjabi albums to his credit. A Bhangra pop icon, Malkit has made the country proud by receiving the MBE award from the British government. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry which was presented to him by Queen Elizabeth II. Recently he gave his live performance in a party at Hotel Crown Plaza, New Friends Colony. Malkit started his performance with his evergreen number and favorite Gur naal ishq meetha and enthralling song tutak tutak tutiyaan. Punjabi pop star, jasbir Jassi gave his splendid performance on Dil le gayi kudi. Other guests present in the party were Vandana Vadera, Vipin Aneja, Bhojpuri star Manoj tiwari, Producer Gulshan Bhatia and Deepak Sharma, Star Cast of Summer 2007. Kaptan Laddi's performance made people dance to the beats of his song. The night saw around 200 people enjoying on the beats and tunes of bhangra to the core. Deepak Sharma announced during the party that Malkit will be the playback singer for his upcoming film bol and bachan. Kaptan laddi said "We have grown up together and it is great that he has received such owner from the british govt. He has made us proud." Jassi that told Malkit is a great company and its fun to be with him. He is the king of bhangra in real sense. Star cast of summer 2007 and malkit singh congrats each other.
