My first test of free track with DCS Black Shark. It needs a few tweaks but it's awesome! To make the 3 point cap I used an old baseball cap, three 6v micro lamps wired in parallel and an old Hornby model railway controller to supply power (and this mean I can adjust the brightness to suit different light conditions!) I didn't want to take apart my webcam as it's quite a nice one, but if you lower the exposure enough free track has no trouble picking up the lights. It's well worth the effort and improves an already great game! A few things that will make it easier though. First, search around google for the file "TrackIRFixer1.2.0.7.rar." This will decrypt the information being sent by Free Track and it will then detect free track automatically in game. However, sometimes freetrack stops tracking when I boot up the game, but if I start free track while in game I have no trouble at all.
