Product review and update and updated regimen 10/09 Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer UVA/UVB SPF 30 - a bit pricey, but it is worth it. It is improving the texture and look of my skin. Ambi Fade Cream - I purchased this about 4 month ago and only used it a couple of times before I gave up. Decided to give it a go again and, I must say, this stuff WORKS! Ivory Soap - THAT'S it! I am not buying any more facial cleansers! This does the job. It dried out my pimples and blemishes over night. It is a bid drying, but I have moisturizer to combat that. ***Oil of Olay Night Firming Cream - I like this stuff. My face is moisturized, soft and smooth in the morning. Update...I ran out of this stuff. Won't purchase again b/c I have other products that I now use. Queen Helene Mint Julep Mint Masque- I will never stop buying this stuff. It does what it says ( tighten pores and helps prevent blackheads leaving a smooth soft feeling). I use it every 2 weeks or so. Vitamin E - A good moisturizer and helps reduce and prevent acne scaring. If I am staying around the house I use this as a moisturizer. My regimen (updated 10/09) Morning: 1. Wash with Ivory soap first then rewash with Dove 2. Apply Aveeno Moisturizer 3. Apply makeup Night: 1. Remove makeup with Ponds deep cleanser and make-up remover 2. Wash with Ivory (keeps acne away), then rewash with Dove for soft moisturized skin. 3. Wipe with toner - Witch Hazel 4. Apply Ambi only on the discolorations and scars. Avoid putting this on parts of your face that don't need it. I don't rub in, just dot it where it needs to be. If I am not going anywhere I use this 2x a day. In the morning and at night. I wash with Ivory and dove, then apply Ambi. 5. I then apply moisturizer around my eye area, mouth, and other large areas where I did not apply the Ambi (Anew Clinical Advanced wrinkle corrector by avon (never to early to start fighting wrinkles) or Nutura by Avon and sometimes Vaseline...I switch it up weekly. One week Avon and Vaseline the next. I do this b/c my skin is funny. If I use a product to often I break out so I switch it up.
