Was messing around on a Nevada map I downloaded, and unwittingly placed my target nearly 2 kilometres away. Not to be deterred, I tried to hit him anyway. After about three ranging shots, I nailed him. Shot taken using the default ArmA M107 with NWD's ballistics and also the sight adjustment addon. The first time I wasn't recording, so I started Fraps and attempted to recreate it. Again after a couple of ranging shots, I got him. The video quality may have blurred the distance, but it is definitely 1,857 metres; if any of you are absolutely convinced it's a fake, I could quite happily upload the misson file for you to measure it yourself. :)
