"Tai Dam Lum Pun" is a Lao classic song. It is about Tai Dam refuging in Laos after the fall of Dien Bien Phu (Muong Thaeng) in 1954. According to many sources, Sanong Ounvong wrote this song under his pen name "Mee Dam" and Kor Viseth was the original singer. I also heard that a Tai Dam man named Cam Lak wrote this and Mr. Ounvong composed into a song. Does anybody know the story behind this?
