How did Barkha Dutt win the Padmashri award hummm. She had to work hard on it.... How ? First she and Pranoy roy had to create a sham award on NDTV called Indian of the year. Then She had to award it to Sonia Gandhi in 2006 In 2007 NDTV gave the award to Manmohan Singh And in 2008 Barkha was Hand picked for Padma Shri... Simple uhh, create sham awards and fool the indian masses and get awarded in return
