No one can deny the impact Teen Idol Ricky Nelson had on Rock 'n' Roll. From his musical appearances on "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet", he helped introduce Rock (and Rockabilly) to the American public. And while Elvis Presley might have been perceived as a bit dangerous... Ricky Nelson was safe for our teenage girls. He also had an amazing back-up band: James Burton, James Kirkland, Ritchie Frost, and Ray Johnson. (Many formerly had worked with Bob Luman) My favorite part is probably the last 20 seconds of the 3rd song. The recording engineer brought up some cool-sounding hand-claps in reverb. Great touch!
