*HUGE thanks to cry0genik for the awesome guitar remixes! Come check out his website: http://cryogenik.com * Here's a little overview of every stages that appear in this part of the run, how they turned out and what were the objectives to do in each one for this run: - Crashman Stage: You just have to keep going up and up in this stage! The trick here was to use a various combination of Item upgrades. Item-2 was used until the second screen with the moving platform, Item-1 was used until I ran out actually and same goes for Item-3. I didn't want to waste ammo, so I took my time and timed my shots mostly with Item-1. Crashman was annoying, but I destroyed him with Airman's weapon. - Woodman Stage: Great stage music here as well, and a pretty darn cool stage I must say! I used Item-1 to get over the mechaniloid bunnies because I can't time my jump too effectively, and the enemy's hitbox seems to be way too big for the little Mega Man, I mean he can't jump like Mario! Another trick later on is to use the Time-Stopper weapon after the first wolf-like mechaniloid. Like this, there won't be another one of them in the next screen and I get to keep some more Atomic Fire ammo. It's basically just for Woodman, and I didn't manage to get another refill for it... Oh well, that's why I switched to Crashman's weapon later on during the boss fight because it can pierce Woodman's Leaf Shield no matter what. Oh and I hate those birds...! - Dr. Wily's Stage 1: Greatest, Music. Ever. In. Any. Mega Man. Game. Period. Yeah, that's a nice way to introduce a stage isn't? I just think this one is epic. Starting from here, the ammo you waste doesn't get refilled after you complete the stage, so it was very important not to waste any unneccessary ammo. That's why I used Item-1 with moderation! The Mecha Dragon was taken care of with the Quick-Boomerang weapon. I've used the sample tracks, edited in my own way just so you guys could enjoy it even more! There are also two bonus tracks not available ANYWHERE ELSE, which are the "Winning Theme" after defeating a boss and the "Idle Drum Theme" from the Weapon Get screen. Anyways, if you guys are interested, you should definitely come check out his website: http://cryogenik.com ! I've barely used the original sound from the original video, but if I did it was mostly the boss explosion sounds.* All Original Content © Copyright, 2007, SHMUPGurus. © Copyright, 1988, the Capcom Logo, Mega Man and all related characters are registered trademarks of CAPCOM CO., LTD.
