http://www.freedom2choose.info Dedicated to the brave publicans who are facing bankruptcy but still fight this dreadful smoking ban. On the 5th of November 2007 (remember this date, it will go down in history) Hamish (Guy Fawkes) Howitt's court case ended with him getting clobbered with a £500 fine and £2000 costs. He has spent £100,000 fighting for the right NOT to send the elderly or infirm drinkers outside in the cold and rain for a smoke! He is facing bankruptcy, stands to lose his home and now he is branded a criminal? NICK HOGAN was fined an extortionate £10,000 for refusing to police the smoking ban in his pub but did warn drinkers that it was against the law to smoke inside and it was at their own risk, (not unreasonable you might think eh?)
