When it take a long time to download, you should change your upload rate to 5 and download rate to unlimited. When you download a torrent, check how many people seeded and read their comment for more information. More seeds means more people use it and it would be faster! I personaly suggest using Azureus, not transmission, because Azureus is just faster and won't make other things your doing slower., but it's harder to use the first time.
