When Linda Neunzig's farm, Ninety Farms near Arlington, Wash., realized her farm was going to be flooded, she quickly made plans to evacuate 200 sheep — many of which were due to lamb — as well as 11 cows, several horses, and a guard llama. She successfully completed the evacuation before her fields, barns and house were flooded. Once the floodwaters subsided, teams of volunteers arrived at the farm to help her muck out stalls, repair fencing, and remove water-logged insulation and carpeting from her house.
