Sukshinder Shinda:Born in Birmingham, Shinda is from Dhamai and he always goes to India for shows and to meet Bhullar family. In 1993, Shinda helped launch the career of Jazzy B, who at the time was an up-and-coming 18-year-old singer, by producing his first album entitled Ghugian Da Jorra. The success of the album led to the instant recognition of Shinda as a quality Bhangra record producer and Jazzy B as a rising Bhangra artist. The two friends decided to keep working as a team and have produced a total of thirteen albums together. In addition to working with Jazzy B, Shinda has produced hit songs with many other Punjabi artists. These include Kuldip Manak, A.S. Kang, Apna Group, Panjabi MC, Sardool Sikander, Heera Group, Meshi Ishara, Manjit Pappu, Soni Pabla, Madan Maddi, Jaspinder Narula, Harbhajan Mann, Gurdas Maan, Amrinder Gill, Shin (DCS) and Abrar-ul-Haq. One of his most critically acclaimed albums was dhol beat 2. Songs included a duet of Jazzy B and Kuldeep Manak, Hoppeh by K S Makhan and a track debuting Shinda's first vocal appearance. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan :He was born in 1974 in Faisalabad, Pakistan into a family of traditional musicians. The son of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat was trained rigorously by his uncle Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in the art of classical music and Qawwali, as Nusrat had no son of his own. An extremely gifted child, he started his musical training at a very early age. In an interview, his father Farrukh has spoken of how Rahat would be receiving musical instruction from Nusrat with a pacifier in his mouth. Under the tutelage of his uncle, his first public performance was at the age of eleven. He can be seen in numerous videos alongside his father and uncle in recordings from the 1980s and 1990s. His voice is high-pitched, unlike the huskier tenor voice of Nusrat. After two decades of captivating performances for international audiences, Rahat is a star in his own right.
